Age 82, of Allison Park formally Lawrenceville, passed away on November 6, 2026.

Beloved husband of 61 years to Nancy (Rupp) Coleman. Loving father of Deborah (Joseph) Zappia Jr. and William Coleman. Devoted Pappy of Valerie Zappia, Joseph Zappia III (Rachel), and William Coleman Jr. Brother of the late Albert Coleman and brother-in-law of Patricia Rupp.

He is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Gabby Coleman; sisters-in-law Shirley Hogan (the late John Hogan) and Joyce Rutter (Joe); and a niece and nephews.

Bill had an incredible sense of humor and always had a joke ready to share. Even during his final days, he continued to keep the nurses and doctors entertained with his jokes whether they wanted to hear them or not! Bill truly had a way with words and could always bring a smile to those around him.

Throughout his career, Bill was an outstanding salesman, known for his natural charm, quick wit, and genuine ability to connect with people.

Bill also had a love for 50’s music. In his younger years, one of his greatest joys was dancing with his beloved wife, Nancy. Together, they were always the best dancers on the dance floor, sharing a special love of music and dancing that created memories to last a lifetime.

Bill had an incredible love and connection with his grandchildren. They brought him so much joy, and the bond they shared was truly special. The memories they made and the love he gave them will live on in their hearts forever. He will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know and love him.

Family and friends are welcomed at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Monday, November 9, 2026, from 3pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish, St. Augustine Church on Tuesday, November 10, 2026 at 10 a.m.
