Steven Vincent Grosskinsky, 88 of Pittsburgh, PA passed away surrounded by his family at home on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. Born on July 19, 1937 to the late Mary and Charles Grosskinsky. Brother of Charles Grosskinsky, Nancy (Ron) Anderson and the late James Grosskinsky and baby Anna Marie. He grew up in Pittsburgh, and was a devout Christian. He worked in the automotive industry before becoming and retiring as a Pittsburgh Police Officer, Federal Street on the Northside. Steve is survived by his loving family, Michael (Sherry) Grosskinsky, Paul (Nicole) Grosskinsky, Kevin (Leslie) Greene, Tim (Kim) Greene and Sean (MaryJo) Greene. 

Grandchildren Deven (Eva) Grosskinsky, Dalton (Rhianna) Grosskinsky, Dru Grosskinsky, Lexie (Mike) Oaster, Brennan (Amy) Greene, Nicholas Greene, Olivia Greene and Alex Greene. Great-Grandfather of Isla, Ava and soon to be baby Greene. Beloved uncle to Dawn Grosskinsky.

Steve is preceded in death by Bernie Greene of 40+ years and Mary Ann Grosskinsky of 20+ years. Steve was a man of many talents, whether he was working on cars, which he had many through the years, or building family heirlooms from wood, he put his heart and love into his work. His children and grandchildren will forever miss his vast knowledge and ability to fix almost anything. He was a kind soul who was very patient and always had a kind word for everyone he met. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
