Sister Celeste (Isabelle) Hupert, a member of the Sister of the Holy Family of Nazareth for 76 years, died March 11, 2026, at age 92. A native of Pittsburgh, PA, she was an educator in elementary and secondary schools in Pittsburgh, Ohio, and Michigan. She also served as a Religious Education Teacher and Pastoral Minister in Pittsburgh. Sister served in the community as liturgist and local superior. She is survived by her brother-in-law Stephen Sparte; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas "Kamil" and Anna; two brothers and five sisters.

Family and friends are welcomed to attend a Visitation at Saint Theresa of Avila Church, 1000 Avila Court, Pittsburgh, PA 15237 on Saturday, March 14, 2026 from Noon until time of Mass of Resurrection at 1:00 p.m. Burial to follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, 310 N. River Road, Des Plaines, IL 60016.
