A lifelong resident of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 in the Juniper Nursing Home in Greentree. He is preceded in death by his father, Stephen Slomski, and his mother Rosalia Slomski (ne Surgot). He is survived by his cousins: Frank A. Surgot and his children Jordan and Kylie, John (Ric) Surgot, Catherine Surgot, the late Linda Surgot and the children of the late Raymond Surgot, Breanna and Ryne.

Ronnie graduated from Washington Vocational High School and worked 57 years as a machinist and as a shipping department employee at Bacharach Inc., which was acquired by MSA Safety, Inc. Ronnie was an avid bicyclist, logging thousands of miles over the years. He rode his bicycle even into his 70's. Ronnie enjoyed family gatherings, board games, card games, movies and music. We wish him peace. He will be missed greatly.
