Age 77, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Lawrenceville, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026. Beloved husband of the late Kim A. (Csurilla) Pesa; loving father of Shannon (Jake) Raketich; cherished Pap of Alex and Niko Raketich; son of the late Dominic and Caroline (Girlardo) Pesa; also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Robert was a City of Pittsburgh Firefighter for 16 years. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam. Robert was a Pittsburgh teams supporter. Most of all, Robert enjoyed countless hours with his grandchildren and dogs. 

Family and friends are welcomed at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Thursday, August 6, 2026 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish, St. Augustine Church on Friday, August 7, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
