Age 88, of Lawrenceville, on Friday, March 21, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Loretta Jean (Cookson) Zbel; loving father of Debbie (Zbel) Gavulic and Eric Zbel; cherished grandfather of Amber Gavulic, Mario (Angela) Zbel and Alexander Zbel; best friend of Cooper; brother of Justine Staments and the late Robert Zbel; also survived by nieces and nephews.

Richard worked for the City of Pittsburgh. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed spending time at the casino.
