Age 86, of Bloomfield, on Thursday, September 14, 2023. Loving husband of 41 years of Elizabeth L. (DelCimmuto) Cunningham; like-a-father of Jill (Steve) Czajkowski, Joyce (Mike) Sharp and Jeff (Kim) Remp; cherished grandfather of Dana (Glenn), R.J., Jenna and Emily; great-grandfather of Russell; son of the late Regis V. and Mary G. Cunningham; brother of Robert (Pat) Cunningham, Ronald (Cindy) Cunningham, Regis (Kathy) Cunningham, Marianne (Phil) Franceschelli and the late Patricia Cunningham; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Richard proudly served in the U.S. Army and retired as Captain with the City of Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire after 32 years of service.
