Age 92, of Bloomfield, passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021. He was born in Pittsburgh on February 27, 1929. Beloved husband to Bernadette (Lester) Rolewski for 63 years; cherished father of Patricia (Frank) Kresak, Michael (Karen) Rolewski, Lori (Robert) Sever and Sheri Rolewski. Raymond loved his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was an Army Veteran in the Korean War. Raymond also loved his jobs at H.J. Heinz and the Carnegie Museum. He is the son of the late Walter and Marie Rolewski; brother of Howard F. Rolewski, Evelyn Merlino and the late Leonard Rolewski. Per his request, there will be no visitation. Family and friends are welcomed to gather at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Catholic Funeral Mass at St. Maria Goretti Parish, St. Joseph Church at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests to have a Mass intention in his honor.
