Age 80, of Lawrenceville, died peacefully in the early morning, on Saturday, June 26, 2021. He is profoundly missed by the love of his life Judith A. (Lilja) Rutkowski to whom he was married for nearly 55 years; loving father of Gina (Kevin) Baxendell, Peter Rutkowski and the late Rae Ann Rutkowski; so very cherished by his adoring grandchildren Brittany, Garrett and Bailee Baxendell and his goddaughter Jude Rutkowski. Ray was born in Lawrenceville on April 5, 1941, the youngest son of the late Peter and Helen (Semat) Rutkowski and the brother of the late Peter Rutkowski. He bravely served in the U.S. Army and then with the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire for 36 years, retiring as a Captain in 2003. Family and friends are welcomed at the WALTER J.
