Sadly, Patricia Ann (Schultz) Czar, age 83, from Shaler, passed away from an unexpected brief illness surrounded by her family on May 19, 2026. She leaves behind her loving husband of 62 years, Walter. They grew up together at St Augustine’s grade school in Lawrenceville. She will also be greatly missed by her loving family: daughters Lisa Czar (Dave Climo) and Cindy Sieber (Joe); granddaughters Jamie Mares (Mark), Diana Sieber; great granddaughters Hadley and Marin Mares. She was preceded in death by her parents Irene (Kobus) and Edward Schultz. She will also be missed by many loving family members and dear friends.
A proud graduate of the Saint Francis School of Nursing, class of 1963, Pat was a dedicated nurse her whole life, always providing the best care and working to evolve with the ever changing health care field. She was a caring bedside nurse for most of her career, and then the manager of the clinical information systems department at St. Francis Medical Center until retirement. She co-authorized the handbook “Informatics for Nurses and Health Care Professionals" and had many career achievements. She was on the board for the St. Francis School of Nursing Alumni, planning many wonderful events with her nursing family over the years. Pat also enjoyed being a member of the Christian Mothers Association of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church.
Pat loved to travel, she took many trips with her family and friends and mastered the art of the bus tour, especially if there was a Casino stop. She loved to talk on the phone to her friends throughout her life, and was always supportive. She loved to shop, always finding the best bargain, and played Bingo whenever she could. She enjoyed watching all of her girls at their shows and sporting events. Pat made everyone around her feel extra special, with hand written notes and thoughtful gifts. We will greatly miss all of her love and kindness, and her beautiful laugh and smile.
