Norman
Kozlowski
March 4, 1932 – September 16, 2025
With love and gratitude for the hardest working man, best Dad and Pap, of Verona, formerly of Lawrenceville. Husband of 69 years to the late Genevieve "Jeannie" Kozlowski; cherished Father of Lynn Solomon-Watters (late Joe Watters), Marianne "Mimi" (Jeff Dorn), Pap of Zachary Solomon (Melanie), Harry Solomon (Mary Ellen), Austin (Lydia) and Dylan Dorn, great-grandfather of Zoey and Henry Solomon and the late Stella Solomon. Preceded in death by his parents Ignatius and Blanche Kozlowski and 9 brothers and sisters. Survived by nieces and nephews.
Norman never knew a stranger, always quick with a smile and to lend a helping hand to everyone in need. His career spanned 29 years as a Millwright at US Steel and an independent self-owned roofing company. He was a master at working with his hands and never idle throughout the day. A kindhearted Pap, ready at a moment's notice to share his knowledge with his grandsons in all areas from skilled mechanical maintenance to philosophy. He was a proud member of the United Steel Workers Union.
In lieu of charitable donations, Norman would like you to do something that makes you smile in his memory. Wash your car, change your oil, cut your grass. "Don't just sit there, get to work, do something."
