Nikayla Julissa Gyles "Kayla" passed away on October 13, 2023. Nikayla was born to Paul and Beverley Gyles June 4, 2002 in Pittsburgh PA. After graduating from Pittsburgh Allderdice High School, Nikayla enrolled in Robert Morris University as a Business Administration major and was scheduled to graduate May 2024.

Nikayla was a caring daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, niece, cousin, friend, student and coach. She loved spending time with family and friends and had great aspirations for her wine business, coaching, and other plans after graduation. She always dared to dream big, no wonder God gave her wings early.

Nikayla is survived by her parents, Paul and Beverley Gyles and her sisters Nicole Gyles-Fullwood (Steve) and Nicollette Gyles, niece, nephews, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Family and friends are welcomed for visitation at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201 on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 from 1-4PM and 6-8PM.

Her celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday October 25, 2023 at 11AM at Morningside Church of God in Christ at 5173 Dearborn St, Pittsburgh, PA 15224. Viewing at this location will be at 10AM – 10:50AM.

Interment to follow at Allegheny Cemetery.
