Age 90, longtime resident of Morningside, on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Irene M. (Cunningham) Pistella; loving father of Anthony D., Frank H., Dean P., the late Michael A. Jr. and Ronald R. Pistella; brother of the late Rose, Evelyn, Angeline and Jeanette; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Michael proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was in combat during the Korean War. He was a lifetime member of the Teamsters Local 249. Michael was an avid sportsman and was a fantastic husband and father and all around, great guy.
