Born June 1, 1933 to parents August and Stella Smolinski and rejoined the love of her life John on January 13, 2025 at age 91.

She is loved and sadly missed by daughters Susan Altieri (Gregory) Jean Parise Fabiano (Ron) and Kathy Parise (Mary Maskiewicz). Adored by grandchildren Jennifer Lippello (Russell) John Lippello (Angela) Michael Parise (Jennifer) Casey Lewis (Daniel) and Andrew Parise. Cherished Grandma Peanut to 8 great grandchildren. Also survived by sisters Dorthy Smolinski and Linda Karos and sister-in-laws Dolly Smolinski (late Tom) and Mary Politano (John). Loved by many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by loving husband John, parents and brother August Thomas Smolinski.

Her entire life was spent working and volunteering at Immaculate Conception, the Ateleta Club and Winchester Thurston Academy feeding thousands of children and adults which she loved doing until retiring finally at the age of 80.

She was known for her sharp wit, clever sense of humor and fierce independence. She was a devoted wife and mother volunteering with the PTG and Christian Mothers.

Aside from family she loved bowling, cooking, eating out, shopping and watching old tv shows but especially loved John Wayne, Frank Sinatra and tweety bird.

Margie will be deeply missed by her family and will remain forever sweet 16 in our hearts.

Family and friends received at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Sunday, January 19, 2025 from 2-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Stanislaus Church, 57 21st Street, on Monday, January 20, 2025 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
