Obituary

Margaret G. Jacobs was born on June 8, 1960 to the late Stanley and Donalda Jacobs, in Lawrenceville, PA. Margaret loved spending time with her grandma as a child and traveling to CoCo beach in Florida with her friends as a teenager. Margaret attended Arsenal High School, and her first job was being a lifeguard at the city pools. At 19 she met the love of her life Ben and went on to have two daughters together but shared seven children in total. Margaret loved being a mom and a homemaker. She wasn’t just a mother to her kids but to everyone and anyone who needed one. Her home had an open door policy for anyone in need. She didn’t meet strangers, because to know her was to love her. Her close friends were more like brothers and sisters.

She was an accountant at Greyhound for many years and she loved her job. In her free time she loved to read and listen to Michael Jackson and Luther Vandross, as well as spend time with her children and grandchildren. There wasn’t a level of Solitaire or Candy Crush she couldn't beat, and if she stumbled upon one, her grandkids were there to solve it for her. There wasn’t a thing she wouldn’t do for her family and friends. There wasn’t a function for her friends and family she didn’t try to attend, even after being too sick to get around she still stayed in contact and supported her loved ones on social media. Margaret loved God and found comfort in knowing one day she would be home with him.

In passing she leaves to mourn, her husband, Ben U. Brock, her daughters, Jennifer L. Brock, Uria M. Blackman, Torri L. Riley, Rosalyn M. Lillard, and Bena Garland, her sons, Devin Terrill, Wayne S. Blackman, and late Ben U. Delon Davis, Grandchildren, Jamir E. Daniels, Kiaya L. Saud, Maurice Mcbride, Aleicia Blackman, Mckayden Blackman, Wayne S. Blackman Jr, James Riley, Anisa Wilson, Dayton Wilson, and Amari Marmon, a host of bonus children and nieces and nephews, as well as friends who have long turned into her family.
