On Monday, September 9, 2024, Lynn age 69, passed peacefully with her children by her side after a long, hard fought battle with lung cancer.

Lynn was born February 4, 1955 to the late Hubert "Pete" and Florence "Babe" Sonick. She was raised in Mt. Washington and Castle Shannon and cherished her role as oldest (and affectionately known as bossiest) of 5. She graduated in 1973 from Keystone Oaks High School. After marrying her beloved and late husband, Tom, she resided in Polish Hill for the past 42 years. There, she raised her children, who were her whole world.

Later in life, she found new purpose as "Grammy Lynn" To her four grandchildren - her pride and joy.

Lynn's favorite hobbies included watching the grandkids, shopping, playing the slots, bingeing her favorite TV shows, and she loved all things Christmas.

Aside from her husband, Tom, and her parents, Lynn is preceded in death by her dear sister, Cindy Bruce. She is survived by her daughter Kelly (Drew) Greygor and son Josh; her adored grandchildren: Allison, Joe, Sydney and Sam; brothers Tim (Jill) Sonick, Jim (Phil) Sonick and sister Darcy (Mark) Sefer; sister-in-law of Kathleen (Bill) Maines. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.

Family and friends are welcomed at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Friday, September 13, 2024 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Service on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.
