Age 90, of Norristown, formerly of Polish Hill and Spring Grove, died Monday, February 7, 2022. Wife of the late Joseph R. Orie; beloved mother of Mari Orie, Joseph J. Orie, Robyn Orie and the late Robert V. Orie; sister of the late Grace (Dietz) Miles and George Dietz; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Lorraine was a nurse's aid and loved caring for others. She was also an avid Bridge player, earning her life masters certification. A private Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Polish Hill. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you submit a donation to your local animal shelter in Lorraine's name as she was an avid animal lover.
