Loretta L. Colabrese, 98, of Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania, and Florida, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2025, in Pittsburgh.

Born in McKeesport, PA on August 10, 1926, to Joseph E. Rost and Mary Kenney Rost, Loretta was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Al Colabrese, her son Mark, her daughter Carol Clark, her twin sister Mary Jo Carothers, and sister Susan Holden. She is survived by her children John (Cathy), Mary Lynn (Anthony DeCaria), and Bob (Sheila), daughter-in-law Sandy, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Loretta was known for her kindness, strength and generosity. She dedicated her life to her family, always offering her love and support. A bridge lifemaster, she continued to play well into her 90s. She was known for her sewing and baking skills, and for her love of sweets and country music. In Florida, she was an avid swimmer and walker, a shuffleboard champion, and she enjoyed countless hours of jigsaw puzzles, board games and card games with her family. She was a tiny lady with a huge heart who will be remembered fondly by all.

A private service was held for her in Pittsburgh.
