Loving Papa to Naomi and Zoriah. Adored Son of Elizabeth "Libby" Buczynski and the late Robert Buczynski. Caring Brother of Sonny and Amy (Pat). "Favorite" bonus son of Claire Purnell and the late John Purnell. Kevin was deeply loved by his Purnell in-laws and was a Fun-loving Uncle/Friend to Jennifer (John), Brianna, Gavin, Patrick, Johnny, Matthew, Logan, Nick, Sarah, Andrew, Josh, Corey (Natalie), Ryan and Elizabeth and the late Little Brian. Godfather to Gavin and Josh.

Kevin served 6 years in the U.S. Army as a logistics analyst. He then dedicated 20+ years to Hexion in Fayetteville, NC where he is considered an invaluable member of the team. Kevin was the kindest, most caring, selfless, patient, hardworking, devoted man you could ever meet. The sunshine and the beach were two of his favorite things. If he wasn't working, he was home in Pittsburgh making memories with his family. He had the most beautiful smile that'll stay with those who were lucky enough to see it for the rest of their lives.
