Age 71, of Harmar Township and Shadyside. My Kathy Anne, My Princess, but most of all, My Girl, passed a little after midnight in the early morning hours of October 11, 2023. Now she rests in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ and in the open arms of her Mom and Dad, who she loved and missed so much. At age 42, Kathy became a proud mother who gave life to our pride and joy, Christopher. She was an RN with a BS in Nursing from Penn State University. She spent 24 years at Citizens General Hospital in New Kensington where she primarily worked as a Preemie Nurse and also worked in the Nursery and Labor and Delivery. Kathy also was employed as an Allergy and Asthma Nurse, and was later the primary nurse at Craig Medical for 6 years. She was an incredible, loyal and loving wife of 32 years and was an excellent Italian cook. Even at the age of 71, she still had her shoulder length dark brown hair and beautiful brown eyes. Kathy was the proud daughter of Larry and Mary Gentile of Shadyside and a graduate of Sacred Heart Elementary and High School in Shadyside. She was also a part-time administrator and secretary in support of her husband's career for 30 years.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Chris and son, Christopher. Goodnight Princess, Sweet Dreams. May you have Eternal Happy Memories of our travels through Life Together. I Will Always Love You.

Visitation was private. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass to celebrate Kathy's life at St. Jude Parish, Sacred Heart Church, 310 Shady Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15206 on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Charitable donations can be made in her honor to the American Red Cross or a charity of your choice.
