Age 73, of Lawrenceville, where she lived with her sister Laurie (Lefler) Mudge, brother-in-law Ron Mudge, nieces Mackenzie Mudge and Morgan Mudge along with multiple animals she loved to help take care of. Taking care of people, especially her family, bonus kids and animals was her top priority. Katie was a 1970 graduate of St. Raphael High School. She was a Housekeeper at West Penn Hospital for over 31 years from 1983 until her retirement in 2015.

She is preceded in death by mother Mary Ann (O’Connor) Lefler and father Dennis R. Lefler. Survived by her siblings William T. (JoAnn) Lefler, Barbara (the late Howard) Rathmann, Robert (Janet) Lefler, M. Patricia (Phillip) Ionadi, Dennis G. (Susan) Lefler, Sandra (Paul) Morse, Kimberly (Peter) Maguire in addition to multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins.
