Passed peacefully, on Friday, July 9, 2021 at the age of 59. Beloved wife of Ralph Frank; cherished mother of Kirstie (Willie) Sullivan; special Nanna of Gatlin and Thatcher; sister of Kim (Joe) Veltre; daughter of the late Gerard "Bucky" and Victoria "Vicky" Mildrich; also survived by Ralph's daughters, Heather (Dave) Ciabottini, Lisa (Randy) Justice, Renee Frank and their families; godmother and aunt of Vincent Veltre and aunt of Michael Veltre; also survived by many cousins and friends, especially Joanne, Patty, Lou and Deb who cared for her throughout her cancer battle. Karen will best be remembered for her laughter and the love she shared with her family and friends. Family and friends are welcomed to celebrate Karen's life at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville on Sunday, July 18, 2021 from 1-6 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 5:30 p.m. Gravesite Service at Chartiers Cemetery, 801 Noblestown Road, Carnegie, PA 15106 on Monday, July 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to UPMC Family Hospice or to the charity of one's choice. Karen fought her cancer battle with strength, courage and grace and she will be missed by all who knew her.
