Age 67, of Cheswick, PA passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. Daughter of the late Richard and Esther Lipinski. Beloved partner of 45 years to Jay T. Colosimo. Loving mother of Jake (Brittany) Colosimo and Jessie (J.B.) Dindak. Cherished sister of Michael (Maryann) Lipinski, David Lipinski, and the late Tommy and Ricky Lipinski. Adored grandmother of Oliver Lambert and prepared for another one on the way. Karen was a valued employee of Children's Hospital of 38 years. She was a very bright and active person who enjoyed painting, gardening and cooking. Karen loved spending time with her many friends both at the gym and otherwise. She often expressed her love for her many wonderful neighbors, as they were a great support for one another. She will be forever missed by all; especially by her dog Buster. In lieu of flowers, Karen, the green thumb, would have wanted everyone to plant and enjoy their own flowers. Friends and family are invited at St. Augustine Cemetery, 250 Wible Run Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15209 on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. for a Chapel Service at 11:00 a.m.
