Obituary

Age 81, of Allison Park, passed away comfortably on Monday, September 12, 2022. Judy has been reunited with her beloved husband and "hon", the late Joseph Sanchez, Sr. Judy is survived by her two children, Elizabeth and Joseph, Jr.
Judy was the youngest daughter of the late Frank and Bertha (Veiders) Bartolick. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Joseph (Ellen) Bartolick, Margaret (Michael) Stupak, Betty Bartolick and John (Dolores) Bartolick.
Judy was a dedicated, loving, and supportive wife and mother. She left her role as an executive secretary to raise her children full-time. She later returned to secretarial work as a substitute for the Shaler Area School District where she was requested often for being one of the few administrative professionals who could still take shorthand dictation. She enjoyed traveling, attending the theater and dining out as well as quiet nights at home watching trivia, football, or a good murder mystery on television. Judy always made the holidays special with an extra fondness for the Christmas season.
Judy was a kind, sweet, and generous woman who would put the needs of others above her own. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. Her daughter said, "There might be mothers who can tie my mom for best mother, but no one could have been a better mother who loved her children more than my mom."
For anyone wishing to make memorial donations, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Shriner's Hospital for Children were two of her favorite charities.
Private family memorial services will be planned for a later date.
