Joseph Andrew “Butch” Rohay Jr, age 67, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away on July 23, 2026. Butch was the beloved husband of the late Hope G. (Huffman) Rohay, who passed away on July 29, 2008.

Born on July 19, 1959, to the late Joseph and Dolores (Guzzie) Rohay, Butch worked as a car mechanic for many years before starting his own towing business, “Butch’s Towing.” He married Hope, the love of his life, on July 29, 1994. He enjoyed music and coloring and held a special place in his heart for his furry cat, “Kitty.”

Butch is survived by his step-sons, Lawrence (Jennifer) Girty and Thomas (Linda) Girty; grandchildren, Brianna, Jaden, Thomas, and Anna Girty; brother, Jeffrey (Cynthia) Rohay; and nephew, Matthew Rohay. He is also survived by other family and friends who will miss him dearly.

Family and friends are welcomed for a Memorial Gathering at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. with a  Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m.
