Age 83, of Lawrenceville, on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, passed peacefully with family by his side. Predeceased by his parents Joseph Sr. and Dorothy (Bakalarski) Bzdziak and niece Jessica (Parker) Filipovitz.

He is survived and will be missed by his brother Robert (Rose Marie) Bzdziak, sister Barbara Bzdziak (Parker), nephew Robert Bzdziak, Jr. and nieces Dori Bzdziak and Victoria Parker as well as great-niece Chloe Parker and great-nephews Ray and Braden Filipovitz.

In his younger years, Butch served on a destroyer in the United States Navy. Following his enlistment, he was employed in the auto parts business before working for Giant Eagle until his retirement. For many years he was active in the Polish Eagle Society PNA 506 on Fisk Street. He also enjoyed watching classic movies and sitting on the front porch interacting with his many friends in the neighborhood.

While it may seem sad that he passed away on Christmas Eve, for those he leaves behind we'll remember the times he went in to Santa mode and made the rounds to distribute gifts and "holiday cheer".
