Joseph "Tooters"
G. Skundrich
September 16, 1950 – November 27, 2025
Age 75, of Lawrenceville, passed away in the early morning on Thanksgiving November 27, 2025. Son of the late Joseph J. Skundrich and Helen (Hovanec) Skundrich. He is survived by his former wife, Diane (Turowski) Skundrich, his sons Joseph, Matthew, and Andrew Skundrich. Grandfather to Joseph, McKenna, Dominic, Demi, Logan and Gwendolyn. Brother of Joanne (Edward) Hoffman, William Skundrich, and Marilan (Sal) Caito.
Joe proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War as a Petty Officer Third Class aboard the USS Talare. He worked for many years as a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union 12 and worked throughout his life to provide for his family.
Though Joe could be described as stubborn and hardheaded at times, his deep love for his family was undeniable. He often expressed this love through his unwavering commitment to provide and give generously to his children and grandchildren. Joe also enjoyed the simple pleasure of catching up with friends and acquaintances over a shot and a beer.
