Age 86, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2026. Beloved husband of Christine Coluccio and the late Linda J. (Baggley) Garvey; loving father of Shannon (the late Todd) Garvey Quinlan and the late John J. Garvey; cherished Pap of Rory Garvey Quinlan. 

John was a City of Pittsburgh Police Officer, retiring in 1990. He served in the United States Marine stationed at Camp Lajeune. Hi wife Gg (Chris) would participate in activities at the nursing home like Bingo, crafts and seeing bands. She would always keep John moving and entertained. His granddaughter, Rory, had a special bond with her Pap, always living next door to him. He would put her on the bus and get her off the bus, playing catch with her in the yard, putting puzzles together, or a competitive game of cards. Shannon is blessed to have her dad for long and the memories to treasure.
