Age 98, of Lawrenceville, on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Sarah E. (McDunn) Galasso; loving father of Robert J. (JoAnn) Galasso and Sarah Ann (Richard) Gammiere; cherished grandfather of Stephen (Jennifer) Strohm, Katie Galasso and Richard Gammiere, Jr.; devoted great-grandfather of Mackenzie Strohm and Madison Strohm; son of the late Joseph and Theresa Galasso; brother of the late Jeannette, Frank, Josephine, Joseph and Rose; also survived by nieces and nephews. John volunteered in the Army Air Corps during World War II as a Radio Operator. He served in Campaign and battles throughout Italy. John committed himself, not only to his job, but being a great caregiver, taking special care of family and neighbors, especially his wife. He was a frequent volunteer for the church. John loved the casino, Polka dancing and the Bingo. Family and friends are welcomed at the WALTER J.
