On October 9, 2023, John E. Dortenzo of Bloomfield, went home to be with the Lord! Loving father to his son and daughter and devoted husband of 31 years to the late Doreen Dortenzo. John was loved and cherished by many including his family, in-laws, nieces and nephews, friends, his extended family and grandchildren, and Dorothy, his caring companion of over 30 years.

He was grateful for all those around him who enriched his life. Spending time with family and friends were always held near and dear to him and he cherished all the memories made.

Family and friends are welcomed at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 2-7 p.m. Private burial to be held at a later date.
