Age 66, of Lawrenceville, formerly of the North Side, bravely lost her battle with cancer on Monday, October 30, 2023. Cherished mother of Patti (Terry) Blackwell, Christine Crowther and the late Ashley Crowther; grammy to Pheonix Blackwell, Alaiha Blackwell, Devon English, Destiny English, Shawn English, Cole Freker and Carlo Pedrocco.

Joann was a strong and inspiring soul who left a lasting impact. She was a dedicated contractor for over twenty years before retiring, only to find joy in helping others by volunteering. She had a passion for cooking, repairing things and gardening. Joann also liked taking care of her plants and garden, which was her favorite pastime. She was the epitome of thoughtfulness, hard work, selflessness and she will never be forgotten.

Family and friends are welcomed at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 4-7 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 6:30 p.m.
