Obituary

Of Ford City, formerly of Lawrenceville, on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. Our much loved sister is gone. Jean was born in Philadelphia, PA on February 4, 1954 with a twin brother James. Jean was raised in Pittsburgh. She graduated from Peabody High School. She worked at St. Margaret Hospital for over 30 years as Director of Cardiology. Jean lived happily in a log cabin on 13 acres near Ford City. She loved Irish Wolfhounds. Jean enjoyed quilting and taught others the art. She was a good cook and a wonderful hostess. She maintained lifelong friendships. Jean is the daughter of the late James and Jean (Pirt) Culhane of Lawrenceville; the wife of the late Daniel "Doc" Feeney of Beechview. She is survived by her brothers and sisters: Kathleen (George) Ledger, Dennis Culhane, James (Darlene) Culhane, John Culhane and Margaret (Rich) Brunsell as well as 8 wonderful Feeney brothers-in-law and their wives and a great number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Family and friends are welcomed at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on  Friday, June 4, 2021 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.
