Age 89, a lifelong resident of Lawrenceville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 5, 2023.  Jim was a retired Inspector for the City of Pittsburgh and a proud U.S. Army veteran.  Jim loved to travel, especially family driving trips to Florida and once retired, trips to Las Vegas and the Western United States.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Bridget and his brother John. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Shirley (Eason), his children, Sandy Mrazik (David, deceased), Dan Dillon (Bonny), Michael Dillon (Denise) and Jim Dillon (Cheri Martinelli).  Jim is also survived by 7 Grandchildren, Jennifer McVicker (Gregg), Michael Wetzel (Shannon), Mark Wetzel (Herlyn), Jason Dillon, Ryan Dillon, Jamie Kearns (Ryan), Allison Griser (Bobby) and 9 Great Grandchildren.

Family and friends are welcomed at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Sunday, October 8, 2023 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Angels Parish, St. Augustine Church on Monday, October 9, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.
