Age 87, of Morningside, formerly of Finleyville, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2026. Beloved husband of Rita Licnerski for 20 years; former husband of the late Arlene (Ambrose) Zacharias; loving father of Amy Zacharias and Mark (Melanie) Licnerski; cherished grandfather of Luke Licnerski; dear brother of James Zacharias and the late Mary Ann Dubosh; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Jack proudly served in the United States Navy. He loved dancing and could be often found on the dance floor sharing smiles and laughter. Jack loved golf and bocce, sharing friendships and enjoyment of the game throughout the years. His greatest joy was watching Luke play hockey. Whether at the rink or cheering from the stands, he was his grandson’s biggest fan and supporter. Jack’s favorite treat was birthday cake. He never missed an opportunity to enjoy a slice. 

Family and friends are welcomed at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Jude Parish, St. Raphael Church on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
