Age 93, of Baldwin Borough, passed away on March 29, 2021. She was born December 26, 1927 to her late parents, Chester and Laura (Zakrzewski) Wisniewski. She and her sister, Jane Krystyniak, spent their early years in the North Side, and in Sharpsburg with her stepsister and brother, the late Janice and Eddie Staniszewski. Helen married the late Stanley Mierun.

She worked many years at the Downtown Kaufmann's/Macy's store. She knew the best bakeries and always visited with sweets in hand. She is survived by her nephews Richard, Robert and the late Ronald Krystyniak and families.
