Age 85, of New Castle, PA on Thursday, February 1, 2024. Former husband of the late Barbara (Lewendowski) McFarland; beloved father of Kirk McFarland, Gerri Lee and Eric McFarland; devoted grandfather of Ian Lee; son of the late Harry and Helen (Wiles) McFarland; brother of Jane Stivason, Harriet Faith, Vern McFarland, the late James Stewart and Ronald McFarland; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Gerald proudly served int he US Navy on the Island of Guam and on board the Constellation Air Craft with the VW/1 Typhoon Trackers. Later in life, he enjoyed playing video poker and solving crossword puzzles.
