Of Pittsburgh, died tragically Friday evening, March 11, 2022, and is now resting peacefully in the arms of our Lord and Savior. Born March 8, 1951, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late George F. and Anna H. (Meyer) Carbin. She was retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

She is survived by her loving daughter Andrea J. Carbin (Pittsburgh), and will forever be remembered with love by her precious grandchildren, Alexis, Gage and Xavier Pilone and darling great-granddaughter, Amelia Saar. Also surviving are her brother, John Carbin (Greensburg), and sisters, Theresa Noullet (New Castle), Linda (Gene) Praniewicz (Cleveland, OH), Susan (Russ) Peterson (Sarver), and Barbara Carbin (Columbia, MD), as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law Christian Pilone, who passed away May 3, 2020.

Georgeann cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-granddaughter, enjoyed reading and tending to her plants and pampering her beloved cats.

Family and friends are welcomed at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 and Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Angels Parish, St. Augustine Church on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery, Butler, PA.
