Frank "Frankie"
Hugh Mclaughlin
January 30, 1958 – April 28, 2024
Born and raised in the Bloomfield section of Pittsburgh, Frankie left this earth in peace looking forward to seeing his late parents, Frank (Sonny) and Virginia (Ginny) McLaughlin, as well as his many beloved pets, Bear, Pepper, Lucy, Black Kitty, Kitty Cattica, & Cecil to name a few.
Frankie was a born salesman. He could talk his way into and out of just about anything. He was gifted with many talents, but his true love and passion was music, particularly, playing the guitar. Frank's favorite time in his life was when he played in the "Are You Experienced" band, where he paid tribute to his life-long idol, Jimi Hendrix.
Frankie leaves behind a daughter, Blaise Rulli, his siblings, Terry McLaughlin, Timmy (Rita) McLaughlin, Karen (Dave) Navarra, Virginia (Ginger) Hart, and Melinda McLaughlin. His nieces and nephews, Brenda Brandau, Melissa (Chuck) Smith, Ryan Romano, Melinda Hart and Michael McLaughlin, and the late Joey and Anthony Amato. His last living uncle, Pete O'Connor, many cousins and friends. In addition to his Facebook Family, Frankie also leaves behind some very special and loyal friends, Roslyn, Paulette and Debi and his last rescue, sweet "little kitty".
Anyone that knew Frankie, knows two things: He was passionate about animals and politics. Frankie took care of so many animals over the years, even when he couldn't take care of himself. He had such a big heart for all animals. In lieu of flowers, Frankie would have preferred donations to the Washington County Humane Society, Route 136, Washington, PA. They took care of Little Kitty during one of his hospital stays. Rest in peace our dear brother until we meet again. As you requested, in your honor, we will be playing Jimi Hendrix, "Hear My Train a Comin".
Family and friends are welcomed at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Friday, May 3, 2024 from 2-8 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 7:30 p.m.
