Age 94, born in Nocera Terinese, Italy in Calabria, of Bloomfield, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025, surrounded by his family. Loving husband of 69 years of Michelina T. (Sciullo) Mastroianni; devoted dad of Phyllis Jean (Nick) Wytiaz, Diana (Tim) Lydon and Tina Mastroianni; proud Tud of Nicholas P. Wytiaz, Victoria Wytiaz, Michael Lydon, Rebecca (Nathan) Kendsersky, Gregory (Maeve) Lydon, Andrea (Michael) Brooks and Megan Lydon; dear brother of Cathy (the late Lou) Gallo and Eugene Mastroianni; brother-in-law of Adeline (the late Sam) Ficorilli, the late Jack, Mary and John Sciullo; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Filippo was a wine maker and drinker. He made sausage and zucchini fritters for family and friends. He was an avid vegetable gardener. Filippo's grandchildren were his pride and joy. He was a longtime member of the Ateleta Beneficial Association, the McKeesport Lodge 57 of ISDA and was a proud usher at Immaculate Conception Church.

ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Monday, April 14, 2025 from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish, St. Augustine Church on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.
