Age 103, of Lawrenceville, on Sunday, April 14, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Richard J. Orlowski; loving mother of John (Shelly) Orlowski and Elle (the late William) Gialanella; devoted Nunnie of Jennifer L. (Justin) Riccelli, Richard J. Orlowski, Benjamin R. (Emily) Gialanella, Joshua W. (Allie) Gialanella and William J. (Caroline) Gialanella; daughter of the late Louis and Elaine (Cavalieri) Parks; dear sister of Margaret (the late Thomas) O'Shea, Donald (Emily) Parks, Maryann (Leonard) Labriola, the late Rose (Sam) Trapani, Anthony (Norma) Parks and Frederick (Patricia) Parks; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Known throughout Lawrenceville as The Avon Lady, Ellie was an Avon Sales Rep for over 50 years. She was a devout Catholic and was a member of St. Mary's Church and later of Our Lady of the Angels Parish, where she was a lector, eucharistic minister, choir member and CCD teacher.
Ellie, with a scarf around her neck, could be seen walking her loyal dog, Dudley, throughout Lawrenceville. She was extremely proud of her Italian heritage and was a fabulous baker.
Ellie was an avid reader and enjoyed taking her grandchildren to the Carnegie Library on Fisk Street and also to Joe Broz's Corner Penny Store.
No visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish, St. Augustine Church on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.
