Age 95, of Conneaut Lake and formerly of Lawrenceville, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. He was born May 23, 1929 in Lawrenceville, the son of Francis and Helen Pieszak. He married Helen Balzer August 22, 1950.

Edwin was a member of Our Lady Queen of Americas Church and was a Eucharistic Minister serving the Church and local Meadville hospitals. His most interesting hobby was painting landscapes, of which a few won him various ribbons at local fairs and exhibitions.

Survivors include three daughters, Claudia Kwiatek (George), Cynthia Szramowski (Donald) and Beverly Sneed Montgomery; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Theresa Balzer; numerous nieces and nephews; and a dear Conneaut Lake friend Sandy Bamgardner. Edwin was preceded in death by his wife and best friend Helen of 71 years, his son Richard (Valerie), one sister and three brothers.

Family and friends are welcomed at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Friday, November 15, 2024 from 2-8 p.m. Additional visitation will be on Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church, 155 S. Ninth Street, Conneaut Lake, PA 16316 where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. with Fr. David Carter as celebrant. Interment will follow in Our Lady Queen of the Americas Cemetery.
