Diane I.
(Pippy) Bradley
November 3, 2023
On Friday, November 3, 2023, Diane I. (Pippy) Bradley passed away peacefully with her children by her side after a long hard battle with stage four pancreatic cancer. It would be wrong to say that Diane lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Diane stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Diane, and anyone that knew her, knew that was not in her nature. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn't mean she lost her fight. Diane worked for CMU in the SEI department for well over 25 years. She was so much to so many people there. She built so many relationships and have life ling friends from there. She was reliable and so important to those she worked with. She will be remembered and cherished there always. Diane enjoyed spending time with her friends, going to concerts and listening to music of all different genres. Diane was always there for her friends and even their children. She was known for her humor, antics, but most of all for being there when they needed her most. The thing Diane enjoyed the absolute most was spending time with her family. She was always excited to be with any of her six grandchildren, and was known to them as the best Ma ever. And she truly was. Diane is survived by her children Jason (Amanda) Schumacher, Kelly (Adam) Rummel, Brandon (Michelle) Schumacher. Grandchildren Eva, Lucia, Jacob, Nicholas, Andrew and Jude. And little sister to Patrick (Christine) Bradley, David (Amy) Bradley. Loving Aunt to Steve, Gwen, Kaitlyn and Ashley. Preceded in death by her parents Patrick and Liane Bradley and nephew Patrick E Bradley. Family and friends are welcomed at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44thStreet, Pittsburgh, PA 15201 on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from 2-8 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 7:30 p.m.
