Age 80, of Plum Born, formerly of Bloomfield, passed peacefully on Thursday, September 17, 2026. 

Beloved husband of the late Jacqueline H. "Jackie" (Morris) Soonick; loving father of Gina Soonick, Heather (David Schultz) Lawrence and Trevor (Michelle) Doubt; devoted pappy of Bobby, Logan, Dylan, Hailey and Mia; cherished great-grandpappy of Ronin; brother of Donna (Dave) Bichler, Toni Ann Wyner and the late Kenneth (surviving wife Kathy) Soonick and John Soonick; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. 

Denny proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he worked as a truck driver and was a proud member of the Teamsters Local #249. He owned and operated his own carpet installation. business and later dedicated his time as a school bus driver for the students of the Kiski Area School District.

Family and friends are welcomed at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Monday, September 21, 2026 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Interment private.
