David Thomas Villa passed away peacefully on September 4, 2023 surrounded by his family. David was born on October 31, 1951 to Arthur and Rose Villa and grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As a former high school athlete, he loved sports and encouraged both of his daughters to follow in his footsteps and find similar passion in their own lives. He touched the lives of many through his lifelong career as a counselor. He will be remembered for his wonderful cooking, guitar playing, and (sometimes inappropriate) sense of humor. Every day spent with him will be cherished and his lessons and laughs will live on with us.

David is survived by his daughters, Kelly (Adam) Rummel and Erica Villa (Patrick Schlick), sister Barbara Villa (Jay Rifer), brothers Arthur (Linda) Villa, Dean (Amy) Villa, Frank Villa (Cindy Rose), grandchildren Jacob, Nicholas, Andrew, and his beloved pug Sidney. A Funeral Service will be held from 2-5 pm at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Pittsburgh, PA on Friday, September 8, 2023. All are welcome to attend.
