Obituary

Daniel Robert Brannigan, age 70 passed away on June 16, 2022 surrounded by his family after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Dan was born, raised and resided in Pittsburgh, PA.
He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Henessey Brannigan and Dolores Jean Shaffer Brannigan and two sisters, Kathryn Ann Brannigan and Maureen Gail Brannigan Cole.
He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend, Marianne Brannigan, a daughter, Danielle and a son, Patrick, his mother "in law" Angela Mannnio, two fur babies, Denver and Felix and countless nieces, nephews and friends.
For over 40 years Mr. B was your local car salesman and Bloomfield legend. He coached CYO basketball for years and loved his "kids". Son, father, coach, friend, Big Red, Mr. B and ultimate funny man.  You will be missed but never forgotten, our precious angel. Until we meet again.
Friends will be received at Walter J. Zalewski Funeral Home, Inc., 216 44 th Street, Pittsburgh, PA.15201 on Tuesday, June 21st from 2-8 p.m. where a blessing service will be held on Wednesday,  June 22 nd at 10 a.m..
Interment will follow at Allegheny County Memorial Park, 1600 Duncan Avenue, Allison Park, PA 15101.
The family has requested flowers be omitted.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of Simpson Funeral and Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, PA 15061
