Brian Micsko of Verona, formerly of Port Vue, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2026. He was born November 28, 1970 and attended Mon Valley School. Brian had an outgoing personality and enjoyed working in the food service industry, holding jobs at McDonald's and Panera Bread. 

An avid Pittsburgh team supporter, he followed the Pirates, Steelers, and Penguins. He enjoyed astronomy, documented the stars, and photographed the sun. A huge animal lover, he enjoyed visits to the zoo. He had a colorful personality which was displayed in his love to dress in tie dye. Brian was a member of the “Churchill bells” choir at Beulah Presbyterian Church, where he forged many friendships. 

He was predeceased by his father, Stephen, and grandparents, John and Ann (Chasko) Micsko, and is survived by many cousins, extended family, and special friends Dana and Wendy. May the blessings he wished on all be with him. Rest in peace Ace Huggy Bear.
