Age 86, of Shaler Township, on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Walter M. Kukawa; loving mother of Michael F. (Rita) Kukawa, Thomas J. Kukawa and Jennifer A. Kukawa; cherished grandmother of Julianne Kukawa and Emily Kukawa; daughter of the late Frank and Bernice (Wisniewski) Treu; sister of Kathleen (the late Walter R. Jr.) Lasek, the late Henry (Suretta) Treu, Dorothy (Walter) Trzeciak and Joanne (John) Kukawa; also survived by two nephews.

Bernice was a nurse at St. Francis Medical Center for 39 years. Her favorite saying was from St. Pio: "Pray, hope and don't worry."
