Bernadette Joan (Lester) Rolewski, born April 29, 1937, passed away at the age of 87 on Monday, January 6, 2025.  She was the beloved wife of 63 years to her husband Raymond who preceded her in death.  She was a treasured mother of Patricia (Frank) Kresak, Michael (Karen) Rolewski, Lori (Robert) Sever, and Sheri Rolewski, and grandmother and great-grandmother to many.  She was the youngest daughter of the late Robert and Mary Lester, and now joins all of her late siblings, Anthony, Joseph, John, Martin, Robert, Francis, Rita Knapp, Mary Ann Podunavac, Theresa Korey, and Dolores Shimkets.

She was the best Mom and the best Friend you could ever wish for.  She was a gentle and kind woman who had strength and determination like no other, and her sparkling blue eyes and heart of gold will be immensely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Per her request, there will be no visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 3058 Brereton Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15219 on Monday, January 13, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests Mass intentions as she was a devout Catholic.
