Audrey Marie
Soldano
September 26, 1947 – July 1, 2022
Audrey Marie Soldano of Bloomfield, Pa entered eternal rest at the age of 74 on July 1 st , 2022. She passed peacefully as a resident of Presbyterian Senior Care in Oakmont, Pa with her loving daughters at her side, Audrey and Dawnmarie. A caring wife, mother, Nana, sister, and friend, she remained pleasant and focused on family throughout her long and courageous battle with cancer.
Audrey was born on September 26 th , 1947 to the late Thomas Malek and the late Stella Piscarski Malek in Lawrenceville, Pa. She is proceeded in death by her loving brother Chester T. Malek and former spouse Donald L. Soldano.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Dawnmarie (Robert) Christman and Audrey LeAnn Soldano as well as the grandchildren she adored, RJ Christman, Antonio Casciato, Ava Casciato, Andrea Casciato and Adrianna Casciato.
Audrey dedicated her early years to caring for aging family members, friends, and patients as a private duty nurse. She enjoyed giving her time and energy to the sick and elderly and cherished her memories of working at St. Augustine Friary for many years where she cared for the retired Capuchin Friars.
Audrey always loved being creative and artistic with home decorating and thoughtful gifts with hand drawings, crafts and especially flowers. She also enjoyed sharing her love of cooking, gardening, crocheting, and crafting with family. She also loved her many dog family members over the years, especially her latest and dearest Cockapoo, Buffy. As much as she enjoyed all of her favorite things though, nothing gave her more joy than spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Audrey will be greatly missed, but in our hearts forever. Her kindness, smile and laughter will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
The family would like to express their appreciation for the loving and caring staff at The Willows, Presbyterian Senior Care as well as the Bridges Hospice staff. Their dedication to Audrey's care and comfort was exemplary and truly brought joy to her years there as a resident.
