Antoinette Meinhardt Lawrence finally lost her long battle with Alzheimer's disease on Sunday, November 24, 2024. She fought hard every step of the way and in a fair fight Alzheimer's wouldn't have had a chance.

Born June 13, 1938 she was the daughter of Inez Flanagan, Jack Meinhardt and Harry Angelo; sister of Marlene, Diane, John, Jean, Jackie, Rosie and Milo; wife of Danny Lawrence, mother of Marc and David, with many nieces and nephews but most especially Don Angelo.

In her 40s she pursued her lifelong dream of becoming a cosmetologist, enjoying a long career at Saks Fifth Avenue in Downtown Pittsburgh, where she loved her work, her coworkers and her clients.

No memorial is planned at this time. We're going to let our sweet girl get some well deserved rest now. In lieu of flowers any contribution to the Alzheimer's Association or a similar organization is deeply appreciated.
